May Schnibbles

Good morning!

I love to make the Schnibble of  the month, but I only had 7 days off this month so time did not allow me to make the entire quilt, but I have a really nice candle mat ready to quilt -- I did enlarge the block a bit and I just love the Red White and Blue theme.

Can't wait to see what the new pattern for June is!  The garden center will be slowing down a bit in June so I will have more time to sew, out busiest month is always May.

I was off on Sunday and Monday of Memorial Day weekend, and  Dear Hubby and I went to New Glarus WI for a breakfast buffet at a Swiss/German restaurant, and  the entire town of New Glarus has painted cows around!  So fun!!  So here are some of the neat cows, I love this brown cow, did you know that brown cows are actaully Swiss cows.

Here is one by where we parked,  love the spotted brown cow!

This cow was right in front of the restaurant - appropriately dressed in a Chef outfit!

This one was my favorite!  She was in front of the chocolate shop -- love her necklace of flowers and she had the sweetest face.

After brunch we stopped at Patches and Petals  - it is one of the Quilt Samplers Top Ten this Spring, great shop I got a neat 30's pattern and some 30's fabric there -- you can never have enough 30's I say!

Then after that we went tubing on the Sugar River and that was a 4 hour trip, so relaxing and then ended up back home that night.  A really nice day.

Thanks for stopping by -- I gotta get ready for work!
