I have done some sewing!

Good Morning!

What have you been up to lately? Got an sewing done?

This has been such a nice summer I have spent alot of time outdoors in my gardens, but I did get some swaps finished up and mailed out last week.

Here is my Teacup and Totebag swap that went to Linda in MO.

Here are my potholders from Potholder Pass 3 that I made from Thimbleberrie fabrics.
As I was making these I thought how easy it would be to make some more potholders from my stash, they use little pieces and it makes great use of small pieces of stash. And then I will have some nice little Christmas gifts, I thought a few wooden spoons, maybe cupcake liners etc in a cute basket. Hopefully I can get some more done :)

And here is the mini embrodiery swap from the Quilting Gallery that I completed. I loved making this little bag it is so easy, I think I will put a tutorial out on the blog for this it is quick and easy and makes a nice little gift. I made one for my cousin in flip flop fabric and she just loved it.

That is all for now, I am a step behind on the Charming Chatter sew along, so I think I will work on that tomorrow night on the Friday Night Sew In - see the link on the side of my blog.
Have a great day, I am off to work!
Happy Stitches
Dorothy

Dorothy,

I really like the potholders - great idea for Christmas presents...

Your embroidery is really pretty. I want to do more of that - and incorporate it in my quilting...

Hi Dorothy,
Thankyou again for the Mini Quilt and the other gorgeous gifts. You made quite a stir in my house hold on Friday. My daughter could hardly contain herself after finding a parcel from the US.
