I am part of the Think Christmas Blog Hop! Today is the first day, so relax you have not missed a beat. Each day several bloggers will post a photo of a block that they have created and what ever else they would like to share.
Since today is the first day and I had 2 ideas for blocks, I thought why not ...share 2 blocks! The first one is a log cabin - all ready for Christmas (well mine ins't I still have to do the embroidery on the roof ) but I am pretty happy how it turned out, I might do some more embellishing on it - see the tree in the window! I love to embellish blocks!
I also have to figure out how to get you a PDF of my block, check back later today and I will get that all done for you! I hope you like this one!!
My next block is one of my newest Christmas favorites, Gingerbread Boys -- last Christmas I had a small Christmas tree in the dining room, full of gingerbread boys and I thought this block was really easy and turned out cute. I hope you enjoy this one too! Both blocks measure 12 inches finished. Again check back later today for the pattern.
And last but not least, what is Christmas without a present???? If you leave a comment and please leave your email address -- you can win this Christmas Mug Rug! I will draw a name Saturday evening for the mug rug.
I will put a tutorial up later this week for this!
Here are the other blogs to hop to today! Enjoy!
Happy Stitches and May I be one of the first to wish you a Very Merry Christmas!
Dorothy
