Butterfly Garden

Hello

I was at work the other day and I created a Butterfly and Hummingbird garden and before I was done placing all the plants where I wanted I saw this great butterfly, I went in and got my camera and here is the picture.

How neat is that. You can click on the picture and enlarge it.

I did do some sewing today and I will take pictures tonight and update my blog in the morning

Hello!

Remember yesterday when I said I rec'd some extra fabric with the potholder swap I rec'd. I made this table topper from it using some Thimbleberrie green I had. I just love it.


Got lots of gardening done the past 2 days and not much sewing. Plan to get up to the creation station tonight!

Potholder Swap!

Hello!

I have 2 days off, have to work the holiday weekend, but at least I have 2 days in a row off.

Yesterday I got a great surprise in the mail...My Potholders from the Potholder Pass. Aren't these the greatest Chickens you have seen!! I just love them and Melinda sent me some extra fabric, so I cute out a tabletopper this morning. Then I ran some errands, now I am going to garden a bit and then come in and sew this afternoon!

I will blog tomorrow and you can see what I have done!

Sorry I have not blogged much, I started back at the garden center last week -- working today and then off Tues and Wed, so I will post what I have been doing tomorrow.

Back From Vacation!

We made it back last Sunday and this past week the weather was so great here, we worked in the yard and garage. But here are a few pictures from the trip.

We took the dogs with and here is Poochie and the remote. She loves to watch her favorite shows even while on vacation :)

We went to the Kansas City Zoo and here is a close up of the seal. He was within inches of me. SO cute

Hubby loves barbeque so...here is the best barbeque in the World! Oklahoma Joes in Kansas City, the resturant is in a gas station, but the food is AWESOME! we got there a little after Noon and the line continued til after 1 -- mmmm....good

And of course we went to some quilt shops and here are my treasures.

And we traveled thru Iowa and saw some great barn quilts. here is one

All in all a wonderful vacation, several barbeque stops, 9 quilt shops, the zoo and lots of other adventures.
